Anuja Trivedi has resigned from her position as Executive Director and Content Studio Strategy Head at Disney Star, and is set to join Shemaroo Entertainment as Chief Marketing Officer starting May 1st.
Trivedi had been with Disney Star for over nine years, holding various positions within the company. She started in 2013 as Senior Manager of Product and Revenue Strategy for Star Plus, and worked her way up to her most recent role as Head of Content Studio Strategy across TV and digital platforms. In this position, she was responsible for driving subscriber growth on Disney+ Hotstar and increasing Star’s market share on television, across multiple languages and content formats.
Before joining Disney Star, Trivedi had worked with notable organizations such as the World Gold Council, McKinsey & Company, Morgan Stanley Advantage Services, and PwC.
Anuja Trivedi’s extensive experience in content and revenue strategy makes her a valuable addition to Shemaroo Entertainment’s leadership team, and her departure from Disney Star represents a loss for the company.
