Kellogg’s and Hershey’s collaborate to launch ‘Kellogg’s Hershey’s Chocos’

Kellogg’s and HERSHEY’S have joined forces to introduce a delightful new offering called Kellogg’s HERSHEY’S Chocos® in India. Through a strategic licensing partnership, Kellogg India is launching a co-branded cereal variant, Kellogg’s HERSHEY’S Chocos®, aiming to provide consumers with an exciting and chocolatey experience.

The heart-shaped cereal, dipped in chocolate, is made from wheat and promises to transform milk into a delicious chocolate treat. Whether enjoyed with milk for breakfast or savoured as a delightful snack anytime, kids are sure to love the indulgence of Kellogg’s HERSHEY’S Chocos®.

The product launch is accompanied by a captivating television commercial featuring a young child and his canine friend, both expressing their enthusiasm and affection for the new Chocos® variant through an engaging conversation.

To support the launch, an extensive Pan-India campaign spanning over two months has been initiated. Consumers can find the new variant, available in a 325gm pack, at retail stores, both physical and online. Priced at Rs. 235, the product aims to entice customers with an exciting offer.

Vinay Subramanyam, senior director, marketing, Kellogg South Asia, said, “With schools set to reopen, homes across the country will witness the age-old morning rush as kids hurry to get to school and parents hurry to get them ready. During such times, a new offering such as Kellogg’s HERSHEY’S Chocos® will be warmly welcomed by both children and parents. The product promises to be ‘too much chocolatey fun’, making the idea of breakfast with milk even more exciting.

Through this launch, we aim to combine Hershey’s much-loved premium, chocolatey experience with the crunch of Kellogg’s Chocos®. Shahrukh Irani, executive creative director, Ogilvy India expressed excitement about unveiling a unique TV commercial for the new variant. He said, “How do you convey that Kellogg’s HESRSHEY’s Chocos® is so much chocolatey fun to have? You let the dog do the talking! The cute banter between the boy and the dog drives home that point and is sure to be too much fun for the kids.”
