Aditya Birla Health Insurance Co. (ABHICL), the health insurance joint venture of Aditya Birla Capital, has launched its annual campaign, #JumpForHealth, on World Health Day, April 7, 2023. This marks the sixth year of the campaign, which has set a target of receiving 10 million jumps and donating 1000 prosthetic legs to differently-abled individuals.
The #JumpForHealth campaign is based on the theme of “finding your reason to jump” and encourages participants to adopt a healthier lifestyle while contributing to society by helping those who are differently-abled. ABHICL’s mission is to make a positive difference in people’s lives and provide support to individuals and families in need.
For every 10,000 jumps recorded by participants, ABHICL donates one prosthetic leg to a person in need. Since the campaign’s inception in 2017, it has recorded over 32 million jumps and donated more than 3262 prosthetic legs to individuals, making a significant impact on their lives and those of their families.
The #JumpForHealth campaign has garnered significant recognition, having been awarded the Guinness World Record title for the “Largest online video album of people jumping in the air” in 2022, with 5455 videos.
