The Bollywood film “Tu Jhooti Main Makkaar” starring Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor has been leaked online ahead of its official release. The film, directed by Luv Ranjan, is a light-hearted love drama and has been in the making for a couple of years. Despite extensive promotional efforts by the lead actors, the movie has fallen victim to piracy, with pirated copies being made available on sites such as Filmyzilla, Movierulez, Telegram, Tamilrockers, 123movies, and Ibomma more, in various resolutions.
This incident is the latest in a string of piracy issues faced by Bollywood filmmakers, including the recent leak of Shah Rukh Khan-led “Pathaan.” Piracy is a persistent issue in the film industry, posing a threat to box office revenues and hurting the earnings of filmmakers and actors involved.
The film’s box office predictions had been optimistic, with an expected opening of between 14-15 crores. The opening numbers are expected to grow, particularly in cities where the release coincides with the Holi holiday. The film’s opening numbers are predicted to be in the same range as “Drishyam 2,” which opened with 15.38 crores.
We do not support piracy, and readers are urged not to participate in piracy and instead watch “Tu Jhooti Main Makkaar” in cinemas.
